RARE Vintage Christmas By Krebs Santa on Silk set of 6 Glass Christmas Ornaments
This is a set of 6 of the 14 Christmas By Krebs Santa on Silk collectible Glass Christmas Ornaments. These were produced in the late 1980s and early 1990s to depict what Santa was called and would have looked like between 1895 and 1915. The front of the balls feature an image of Santa, reproduced on pure silk from a turn of the century chromo-lithograph, and marked with the circa date to indicate what Santa would have looked like in that year. The image is framed with shiny lace trim. The sides of the ornament have intricate glitter scrolling, and the back features the year each particular ornament was released. Three of these are from 1990 and three from 1992. Three of the ornaments are gold and three are red. These are all opened, but in their original packaging with absolutely zero sign that they were ever even used. The glass is beautiful and shiny, the glitter detailed scrolling is in tact and all boxes are immaculate with very little sign of wear.
