Lot (52) Czech retro vintage christmas ornaments. With mixed media including blown glass beads, blown silver mercury glass beads, foils and tinsels, pipe cleaners, and plastics. All in good condition for used ornaments. The old Gablonz region of the former Czechoslovakia is famous for producing beaded Christmas ornaments. While the older ornaments were purely made with wired antique blown mercury glass beads, the later retro ornaments used a variety of materials including metals, plastics, wire and felts, although many were still made with antique beads.
