Vintage Glass Owl Christmas Ornament. “Germany” on metal hook holder. Body is a gold tone, with silver tone or transparent, underneath the gold tone. Eyes are a bright yellow, black and reddish pink. A family member recalls this Christmas ornament hanging on the Christmas tree during the 1940s. Height (including the loop at the top) – 3 7/8 or 9.84 cm. I don’t see any cracks or chips. Ornament has scuffs, crazing, paint missing and peeling. Patina on hook holder. I have not removed the hook holder, so I don’t know condition of ornament under hook holder.
