18 Vintage Mid-Century Modern INDENT Made in JAPAN MINI SINGLE-INDENT Feather Tree Sized Glass Christmas Ornaments (in 2 Original Boxes). This is an offering of 18 made in Japan Mercury Glass Indent Ornaments in feather tree size. These are approximately 1 3/8 inches in diameter. There are 2 sets in their original boxes. Each box has the original “Made in Japan” label with its “8686” stock number. Also on the box bottom is a label stating “Fine Quality” and bearing an ID code of JIS-Z-6209. These are classic mid-century modern glass ornaments from the late-1950s or early-1960s. The boxes are strong with a little fading and one has a moderate sized stain. The ornaments show no breaks, mends or other damage. They do show typical modest wear that comes with their roughly 60 years of age. They are beautiful with great color and will do a lot to brighten your holiday tree. These are ideal for smaller or “mini” trees. As with all vintage ornaments the finish and paint will have varying degrees of age/fading/patina, which is expected but does not detract from their beauty and charm.
