12 Vintage WWII Unsilvered Glass Striped Ornaments withPaper Hangers, Uncle Sam Box

Offering a group of 12 vintage WWII unsilvered glass striped ornaments. All have a paper loop hanger that was used during WWII when metal was reserved for the war effort. They vary in size from 2 ¾ to 3 inches in diameter. Lots of pink in these. All are in good vintage condition with some typical vintage flaws of some light wear in places. They come in an original Shiny Brite Uncle Sam & Santa box. The box does have a tear on one end (see Pictures). It is rare to find so many of the war time unsilvered ornaments with the paper hangers all at one time. Please examine all photos as they are as important to the description of this item as the words that are written about the item. Supersize them while you are examining the photos. Please remember that vintage ornaments are usually from 40 to 80 years old. All have been used and are thus probably not going to be in perfect condition. All are subject to some surface scratches, flaking to the paint, crazing of paint, age spots, oxidation, silvering loss, nicks around or under caps, may have tarnish / discoloration to metal caps, and some may not have the original caps. These are all signs of age commonly called age patina. This prevents anyone else from purchasing your items and sends a request to me for a revised invoice. Payments must be received within 3 days.
